I don’t want it, it hurts. I wish to tear my skin off when you touch me, yet it’s so lovely.

Debut

I was merely a flower, bloomed from you.

I was meant to blossom, and for years I did. ”Amaryllis, I only love you.”

No matter how vile, I thought it was in such ways.

You are all I had, all I knew, so I let you pluck away at each petal I had.

Even when I believed you helplessly, thinking you were watering me, there you went plucking away.

“Amaryllis, that's not right!”

No, it’s not true, I’m still beautiful! Beauty is me, the petals I have strived because of you! ”You’re nothing but ungrateful!” My world, I thought I knew, came crashing down in an instant.

It is all I needed, as I have no regret running away to start a new life!

With this bing his father, and the only person he knew, he thought this was true and allowed his father to slip in his room on many days to come. It was until one day his father proposed him coming out of the basement if he agreed to say he was 20, and not let anyone know he was his son, also stressing to never tell anyone what they do. Confused, but blinded by love and trust, he agreed.

His father fired all the maids he had, and made Amaryllis a fine butler, knowing how to cook and clean. This would be the only skills he knew. A year later, Amaryllis father had brought a friend who brought his son who was a year older.

The boy had quickly realized how little the boy was educated, causing him to point and say smaller stuff to him. This had Amaryllis to shift his feelings, telling the boy the truth a few months into their friendship. He told him he wasn’t twenty, he was 18, and the “Boss” was his father. He told him what him and his father did, and how it was uncomfortable most times, and he does attempt to beg him to stop, but he ends up accepting it as he simply says it’s because they both love each other.

The boy sat him down and told him the truth, Amaryllis having difficulties believing it and begging him not to tell anyone. The boy agreed, as he knew he wasn’t well, but the next day gave Amaryllis a bracelet with a bell. He told him how he can ring it when he’s uncomfortable, and he will hold him out of any situation.

For years to come until Amaryllis was 21, Amaryllis fell in and out of the abuse cycle with his father, until he had broken Amaryllis a hand and given him a black eye from his father. His father's abuse had never gotten this far, claiming he’d never hurt him beyond a point he can’t easily recover from as sometimes accidents happen, he believed such. However, the pain he faced, it made Amaryllis realize he was nothing more than relief when other women, alcohol or smoking wasn’t working.

Amaryllis had run out on his father with the letter he had obtained earlier, which was sent for his father, but he decided it was now his ticket to finally gain his wings back.

Letters

First Letter
February 14th —

Today is a day I cherish most. It is not only one where those around you show adoration, but the day they show the most adoration towards me. I’ll admit, it is a bit overwhelming to receive such praise and love. What do all those women think by caring so deeply over someone they are hardly acquaintances with? I’m glad I have my dear, and obedient Amaryllis, that’s why I cherish this day. He’ll be waiting, and look so lovingly and almost pathetic at the animal I grace him with. A pet. Amaryllis, that fool. He falls time and time again for this trick. Isn’t he aware the only pet here is himself? I would never let something so filthy into my own home. Amaryllis is a beautiful young man, and he knows exactly what I like, desire, and need. The pet is just a ploy, a bribery for his refusal later on in the night to seem rather selfish. As I teach him, when I give you something so generous, what do you do? Return the favor by being compliant.
